Melia International Announce Further Investment in Montenegro with the New Melia Becici Budva Hotel
One of the world’s largest hotel chains has announced continued investment in Montenegro today with plans for a new Hotel Development, which is set to be built in the coastal town of Becici and will open in 2025, offering superior accommodation options and a first class service.

Already a household name for many, Melia International is primarily a Spanish Brand with a diverse international presence which spans across Asia, Europe, Africa, America and the Caribbean. Their range of brands include Gran Melia, Me by Melia, Paradisus, Melia Hotels and Resorts, Innside, Tryp and Sol, plus their commitment to excellence is second to none as they have built their business based on a unique approach to hospitality & sustainability.
So called the Melia Becici Budva the new hotel will be a part of the Melia Hotels and Resorts brand offering a total of 294 guest suites of which 140 will be apartments with a generous build size of 118 sqm. There will be a focus on combining the quality and experience of the brand with the stunning views of the Sea, mountains and countryside in which Becici resides.
The hotel will provide a range of both business and tourism facilities such as an outdoor and indoor pool, wellness centre with a gym and spa, two A La Carte restaurants, rooftop area with bar (to take advantage of the views) and several meeting/conference rooms with a 100-vehicle car park.
The group already have the Melia Budva Petrovac, which is a 5-star hotel with 114 rooms, situated in the Coastal town of Petrovac, so it’s excellent to see that they wish to improve their presence in Montenegro with the Melia Becici Budva.
